7 months old already, and hasn't slowed down since! I'm not even exaggerating, Patrick started to slowly crawl about 2 weeks ago...but more scooting than crawling. But it has quickly changed. Once he figured it out he hasn't stopped. I didn't think this day would come so soon, I have had to spend a lot of time "child-proofing" this week because if it's at his level, he will find it! :) haha! It's been so much fun watching him learn, everything is so new. I know we are loving this new motion, but I can't say the same for our puppy, Hobbs. Patrick loves him so much (luckily Hobbs is so lazy) he follows Hobbs everywhere!
We went to Minnesota last weekend (Cville Kauz's) for the PGA golf tournament in Chaska, MN. The guys went 2 days, and loved it...the outcome wasn't what they had hoped for (Tiger Woods getting 2nd) it was a good time had by all. While the men went to the tournament, the ladies took advantage of some much need "retail therapy". I think we enjoyed that just as much as the men! We stayed pretty busy but Matt and I were able to catch up with a couple friends one night.
Patrick is really (this time it's for real) working on some teeth...all week the bottom gums have been so sore and swollen, poor baby. We have had to resort to a lot of Orajel and Tylenol. He's a trooper though...he just sucks in his bottom lip and sucks on his fingers all day!
I think that will catch you up on what is happening at the Houser household this week. Take care and enjoy the MANY photos.

Patrick gets so excited for his bath-time now. Matt had him all ready to go, but had to wait on the water.
If the computer is out...game on... Patrick can spot it from across the room, and crawl over to it (or whomever is using it)... I guess he'll take after his Uncle Kris.
Patrick fell down this week (actually tipped over) and bumped his head on the wall...and got his first "owie...it has faded a lot today, but I felt so bad he cried big "crocodile tears". Daddy had to get him an ice-pack and then we had to take him to the park to swing, his new favorite hobby. (can you tell we are first time parents?) haha!
Patrick had a play-date with his buddy Maddox, who is 1 week younger than Patrick. Patrick proved to be the bully though...as he kept stealing Maddox's binky (and he doesn't even like binkys)!!! Maddox didn't seem to mind though!
We spend a lot of time at the neighborhood park these days. Patrick loves to swing! He smiles the whole time!
