Patrick has kept us very busy this Spring. He loves to be outside, and can move very fast! I love every minute of it, everyday is something new! He is a "chatter-box" these days also. He mimics everything that we say, though some of it doesn't come out right, most things do! Some of his new favorite words are: turtle, Elmo, hot doggy, uh-oh, yucky and cup.
He calls every snack a "cookie" and of course knows where his food is stored, and points and asks for a cookie often.
I must tell him that his diapers are "yucky" a lot because now he asks if it's yucky, and when I say, "yes" he says, "yucky" and takes his diaper to his room and puts it into his diaper genie. What a smart boy I have!!
Hobbs is still his best buddy, though I think Hobbs is rethinking this alliance since Patrick can now chase him and try to ride him. It is hilarious, and Patrick will do it forever, well until Hobbs hides from him.
The latest thing Patrick is doing is smelling flowers. I have no idea where he learned it, but he snorts like a pig when he gets close to the flowers to smell them, definitely not even close enough to smell them :) It's so cute!
Enjoy the photos!
Patrick smelling the flowers

Madeline, Matthew and Patrick playing in the sandbox at my mom's...yes we did go get him one after this.
Patrick and Ava riding the dump truck. They both have a little trouble sharing. They are only 4 days apart in age!

Patrick is proud of his new climbing ability and frequently climbs into our deck chairs.

These photos are from one of my friend's wedding in April. Patrick had a great time!

The food pantry has become a hiding spot for Patrick. He's not going to fit inside much longer he's almost too tall.

I couldn't resist taking this picture when Patrick was napping and had his leg stuck outside his crib. After about 30 minutes of being stuck Matt and I attempted to move him, and didn't do too well...he was pretty stuck and of course it woke him up. :(

Matt, Patrick and I attended the VIESHEA parade at Iowa State with our friends Nate and Ava. This kids loved the parade, Iowa State had a lot of animals involved in the parade.

"P" sticking his tongue out while climbing up the slide.

Patrick loves this dog decoration I have outside, he will take off the head and carry it around like it's a toy.
