Week 10 was very eventful for our family... I started back to work, and Patrick started daycare. Just like everyone has told me it was all harder on my than it was for him.. He was able to stay home with Matt for the first 3 days which made the transition much easier for me. I was able to make many phone calls home to check in on him. Then he started daycare on Monday. The first day was rough for him (he only slept 1 hour...(instead of his usual 4 or 5). But apparently he has gotten used to it because he is sleeping a lot when he is there... I guess watching all of those other toddlers must wear him out! We are very lucky to have our daycare so close, she lives 2 houses from us and is on my way to work which is also on the same street.
Work is going well for me, it's kind of like I never really left. I am staying incredibly busy and my days seem to fly by and before I know it it's time to pick Patrick back up from daycare. Wednesday Patrick had his "8 week" well-baby check and got his first shots... the shots went a as well as can be expected. He didn't like them, but was such a trooper and fell asleep before we left the office and was a very happy boy all night (you would have had no clue that he had just had shots!! He's a trooper!! :) Thanks goodness!) He is growing well... a whoping 12 lbs & 9 oz. and was 23" long. He's definitely our growing boy!!
