Last week was a busy week for our little guy....first hair-cut, first trip to the dentist and a couple shots... but Patrick was great for it all.
We decided it was time for his first hair-cut since he is a "sweater". He always seemed to be hot and I believe he's inherited my thick hair, which didn't help. So I took him to my hair stylist and he did great. We gave Patrick some hair clips to hold and he was content, he even let her buzz around his ears! I won't get my hopes up that every time will go this smooth, but I can hope!! Matt couldn't go with me so I didn't have the chance to get any photos :(, but there will be other times for photos!
The dentist was next, yes I realize it seems strange to take a 10 month old to the dentist but we were afraid that he had cracked one of his front teeth. Turns out he didn't crack it, but it's a "fused tooth". Rare, but not super rare in children (so we're told) his two teeth fused together (front left, and side) I can't get a photo of it, but it's interesting. But good news is, that it shouldn't affect his permanent teeth!! Thank goodness, I pray Patrick inherits Matt's "perfect" teeth!
Later in the week his shots went well...Matt actually took Patrick this time, and they both survived! Thank goodness!
Bring on Christmas....we finished most of our shopping and have most of it wrapped (that is my FAVORITE thing to do this time of year)!!! We decided not to put up our full size Christmas tree this year to prevent Patrick from bothering it, but he seems to mess with our 3' tree plenty. He's almost pulled it over so many times! O-well it's worth it, and it's going to be a great Christmas!
